Project 1, User Shell
Complete the shell lab, described in Lab 2.1 starting on page 76 of the textbook. You can use any language to complete the task, provided
- the fork-exec functionality of the described lab is maintained
- the word "visual" does not appear in name of the language.
The project is due Tuesday, February 12th at 3:08 a.m. Send your program and the output from an interactive script session as attachments to gray@cs.uni.edu with the subject "Slice up my fork code" (without the quotes).
Since this is the first project, some additional points need to be stressed:
- you must have a usage statement in your program
- you must have an interactive session as one of your submission documents
- you must submit your project by e-mail
- you must use the correct subject in your e-mail
- you must have your code and the interactive session included as attachments to your submission e-mail
- you must do your own work (this criterion is especially problematic it seems)
- your code must compile in order to be graded
- your code must compile on octane.cs.uni.edu.
- never, ever, send me files in a proprietary format.

Base 1 -> Base 10 Project
Gee, I discussed this in class. In case you didn't go to class, then perhaps you should mail the class list to get all of the details.
